For more than 20 years, American University of Sharjah (AUS) has inspired thousands of students to achieve academic excellence, while gaining the confidence, knowledge and desire make an impact in the wider community.
Ranked among the top ten universities in the Middle East for the past six consecutive years and as one of the top 50 universities under 50 years of age (QS World University Rankings), AUS has proven to be an ideal setting for the promotion of cross-cultural understanding, as well as an educational environment where every student can realize their full potential.
AUS offers 28 majors and 45 minors at the undergraduate level – from mass communication and architecture to computer engineering and business administration – through the College of Architecture, Art and Design; College of Arts and Sciences; College of Engineering; and School of Business Administration.
At the graduate level, AUS offers 16 master’s degrees and two PhD programs. All programs are conducted in English. A graduate degree from AUS can set you apart in a competitive work environment, help you carve out a new career path or allow you to pursue the highest academic attainments of your field.
We will also provide a brief overview of our master's and PhD programs for those who are interested in graduate study.
At AUS, we believe that academic potential should not be limited by financial resources, with two out of three AUS students benefiting from financial grants, scholarships or work-study opportunities. These are available to all qualified AUS students, including incoming first-year students, regardless of race, gender, religion or national origin.
On June 17, AUS representatives will conduct a free webinar for prospective undergraduate and graduate students, and their parents.
