TAMPERE UNIVERSITIES

Tampere Universities (TU) is the union of University of Tampere, Tampere University of Technology and Tampere University of Applied Sciences. The time this higher education community will begin its work – 1 January 2019.

Nowadays more than 33 thousand students from all over the wold study in these three universities. There are 7 campuses located in a city of Tampere and outside of it. The universities have a lot of scientific and technical research laboratories, many of them cooperate with large technology-based firms (such as Nokia, for example).

The main fields of studies in TU are medicine, economics, social sciences and technology. 7 bachelor programs, 40 master programs and 22 PhD programs in English are offered to international students. TU also introduce Professional education teacher program, designed as semi-educational/semi-practical course for 1-2 years.
