TYUMEN INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY

Industrial University of Tyumen is one of the largest research and educational complexes in Russia.

IUT provides the educational services in more than six specializations, 36 Bachelor's programs and 20 Master's programs. IUT subdivisions also offer many programs of summer schools and additional education with involvement in the learning process leading experts from Russian and international companies. Different courses and two master programs (“Offshore drilling” and “Geosteering”) are available in English.

Today there are more than 39,000 students of the university, including more than 1,500 foreign students from 35 countries (Asia, Europe, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia and Middle East). At IUT works 1436 academic staff, including 91 research fellows and 1345 faculties.

For foreign citizens the comfortable social environment including accommodation in modern hostels, possibilities for sports activities, participation in student creative and scientific clubs and societies, is created. IUT pays attention to foreign students in issues of their adaptation and integration into academic and extra-curricular activity.
