The University of Klagenfurt is a vibrant & innovative university, located at the intersection of three diverse cultures. It is the leading academic educational and research institution in Carinthia and a hub for knowledge acquisition, knowledge exchange and knowledge transfer throughout the whole of the Alpen-Adria region.

The University of Klagenfurt was founded in 1970 and today has approx. 12,000 students. It is a very young, dynamic university with four faculties in modern buildings and excellent infrastructure.
