University of Padova (UNIPD) is one the world’s oldest universities established in 1222. For many centuries it has been of the leading European scientific centers along with Oxford, Sorbonne and University of Bologna. Today more than 43 thousand people study at the university.
UNIPD has dozens of departments representing almost all fields of study from molecular medicine to international law. All departments are united in 8 Schools:
Most of the programs are Italian-taught but some courses are also available in English.
Every year a great number of international students come to UNIPD. The university offers 13 double degree programs developed in cooperation with universities of UK, USA, France, Germany and other countries. UNIPD also takes part in T.I.M.E. (Top Industrial Managers for Europe) initiative – a network of 53 European top engineering schools training high-end technical specialists.
