British Council is a public organization promoting British education, science and culture abroad. The Council operates all over the world running offices in 110 countries.

British Council helps potential incoming students get ready for language exams and British universities and schools entering tests. It offers free massive open online courses (MOOC) which help to improve English skills, to learn more about study options in UK and to connect with learners across the globe.

British Council actively cooperates with local educational institutions promoting double degree programs. In Azerbaijan it collaborate with a number of educational funds, associations and organization including Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, Baku Higher Oil School, Azerbaijan English Teachers’ Association and others.
