Founder, Lex Devine's guiding principle to offer ‘an all-round education’ is as relevant today, as it was 125 years ago.  Devine understood the importance of a traditional academic education but he also recognised that it needed to be coupled with a strong foundation of values and attitudes. That ethos remains at the heart of a Clayesmore education today.
