The Cyprus Institute (CyI) is a world-class, non-profit research and educational institution dedicated to scientific and technological excellence. As a regional Centre of Excellence, it focuses on issues of regional relevance with global significance, placing strong emphasis on interdisciplinary research and international collaboration.

Established in 2010, the fully accredited Graduate School of CyI offers advanced academic training through three PhD and three Master’s programmes in globally critical fields such as Energy, Environment, Computational Sciences, and Digital Cultural Heritage.

Equipped with state-of-the-art research facilities and a strong network of international partnerships, CyI attracts students and faculty from over 25 countries. Around 60% of its student body — currently around 100 students — is international, fostering a vibrant, diverse academic community.
