FH AACHEN UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES

The Freshman Program is a one year study course for International students, ideal for Students wanting to continue with their Bachelors in Germany. It is conducted by The Freshman Institute which is an organisation of the FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences and is approved by the Ministry of Higher Education of North Rhine-Westphalia. The Freshman Program is equivalent to the “Arbitur” or entrance level to Bachelors in Germany and offers a guaranteed study place in one of the partner Universities. 

The three fields of study offered here are Engineering, Business Administration & Medicine.

A student has a choice to study either completely in English, partly in English/German or completely in German depending upon his/her language capabilities.

To study this course a student must have:

• Passed the secondary school certificate from their home country,
• A basic knowledge of either English or German,
• Passed the entrance examination to the Freshman Program or TestAS (test for international students).
