FULFORD ACADEMY

Founded in 2002, Fulford Academy is a unique small boarding school for international students, grades 7 to 10. We offer Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum from an English as a Second Language perspective in a safe and structured family environment.

Our students are well prepared linguistically, academically and culturally to apply and successfully transition into the top universities in Canada and the USA. We havea history of successful graduates for over 10 years.

Why we're different?

• We are small by design with an enrollment limited to 60 students.

• Our classes are small; consisting of 6–12 students.

• Our teachers are highly trained, have ESL certification and are members of the Ontario College of Teachers.

• Our teaching methods ensure our students understand the subject content and develop a sound foundation of English and language acquisition skills thus gaining the confidence to succeed in English instruction classes.

• We offer a structured family-like environment with “English Only” rules.

• Our students follow a typical boarding school daily schedule, allowing them to adapt academically, linguistically and culturally to boarding school routines, rules and expectations.
