Halmstad University is a Sweden public university located in the south-west of the country in university-city Halmstad. Since its foundation in 1983 the university remains an important part of regional higher education system. Today over 11 thousand people study there.

Halmstad University trains high qualified specialists both in STEM and humanities. The university includes several departments:

  • School of Business, Engineering and Science
  • School of Education, Humanities and Social Sciences
  • School of Health and Welfare
  • School of Information Technology

The languages of instruction at the university are English and Sweden. Applicants can choose from over 40 bachelor, master and PhD programs.

Halmstad University takes part in Student Experience and Employability Programme (SEEP) – the initiative for international students who are about to work and stay in Sweden after graduation. The program includes adaptation course, meeting with local recruiting agencies and Sweden business representatives.
