With a strong tradition of engineering excellence for 85 years, PolyU’s Faculty of Engineering has nurtured generations of engineers and technologists who have contributed to industry and society at local, national, and international levels. The faculty comprises five departments: Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Offering a diverse range of undergraduate, taught, and research postgraduate programmes, PolyU continuously enhances its curricula, teaching methodologies, and facilities through collaboration with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and international academics.

Today, the Faculty of Engineering is home to over 5,700 students, 160 academics, and 330 research personnel.
