IMT Mines Ales
Originally created for the local mining industry, IMT Mines Alès has constantly reinvented itself and diversified. Today, it is a major general engineering school whose motto is "science and creativity to invent a sustainable world".
Today, our school is proud to be part of the IMT group, the Institut Mines Télécom, the largest engineering training group in France.
The school trains its future engineers in six major fields:
- environment, energy and risk
- innovative & ecological materials
- civil engineering & sustainable building
- computer science and artificial intelligence
- industries of the future
- mineral resources and subsoil development.
28 options are offered, including 3 in English.
3 Engineering specialities are also offered through apprenticeship.
In addition, IMT Mines Alès is developing more specialised training programmes for a large number of foreign students:
- two international Masters in English :
- DAMAGE, focusing on Disaster Management
- WISE, Focusing on Water Management (1st intake fall 2023)
- A set of specialised masters (in French) respectively focusing on communication (CTN), on Mining (2EM), industrial safety (SIE) or Material sciences and circular economy (PRINEC, 1st intake 2023) are also offered
