Ion Creanga State Pedagogical University of Chisinau is a higher education institution, which aims at the initial and continuous higher level training of specialists in the fields of Educational Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Arts, Exact Sciences and Social Assistance, providing them with competitive professional qualifications on the labor market, as well as guidance in the development of scientific research activity and the exploitation of their results.

The strategic plan of the UPSC is developed in accordance with the provisions of ongoing reforms in the national and European education system, aiming at the achievement of the University’s mission: pedagogical training of teaching staff and innovation of education sciences, through inter- and trans-disciplinary research.
