National Research Tomsk State University (TSU) is one of the leading universities in Siberia region (and definitely the eldest one – established in 1878). According to Times Higher Education TSU ranks 8th among all Russian higher education institutions. Today more than 15 thousand students (including almost 30% of international ones) attend the university.
TSU is a multidisciplinary university offering a great variety of courses. The structure of university includes 6 institutes and 14 faculties. Main fields of training are:
TSU offers 92 bachelor programs, 123 master programs and 75 PhD programs. The university also run several double degree programs in cooperation with universities of China, France, Belgium and other countries.
TSU students have many internship and employment opportunities: the university cooperates with many public and private companies working in oil, gas, chemical, aircraft and shipbuilding sectors. It also has partnership agreements with 44 universities from UK, France, Germany, Sweden and 18 other countries.
