Today, SPD is an international laboratory balancing function and expression, production and experimentation, through a blend of Italian roots and international orientation.
Each student receives individual attention from a faculty comprising designers, industry professionals, and visiting tutors. Education includes intensive workshops, studio classes, theoretical lectures, seminars, and visits. Collaborative research projects with leading companies such as Volkswagen, Beiersdorf, Poltrona Frau Group, Microsoft, Heineken, Alfa Romeo, and Alias are integral to the SPD experience.
