The affordability of education

• International students study with practically no tuition fee in 10 of the 16 Federal States of Germany
• In other Federal States, the university fee is around EUR 500 per semester, which is considerably less than in other countries
• There are a lot of different entities that provide scholarships and grants to international students
• One may choose to combine study and work

Academic freedom

• Every student may independently define the list of disciplines he/she plans study
• It’s possible to affect a study plan and even a schedule
• Students combine the learning process with scientific research
