UNIVERSITY OF MEDITERRANEAN KARPASIA

The University of Mediterranean Karpasia was founded in 2012 and is set in Nicosia, the capital city of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). It provides internationally accepted associate, degree, and graduate level diplomas in all its programs.

Our objective is to have our students learn scientific knowledge by experimenting as well as testing and researching in addition to using that knowledge in their daily lives. 

We have cooperation with the industry and agreements with some international universities, including B.H.M.S. Business & Hotel Management School - Switzerland, Superior University, and College of Tourism & Hotel Management (COTHM).

The university offers:

• 9 Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Faculty of Business, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, and Faculty of Law; 
• 12 Master’s Degree Programs in the Institute of Social Sciences;
• 10 Associate Degree Programs in Civil Aviation Vocational School, Vocational School of Management, Culinary Arts Vocational School, American Tourism and Hospitality Management, Vocational School of Accountancy.

Accreditation of UMK by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation and Coordination Council, and Turkish Higher Education Council of the Republic of Turkey (YÖK) confirms quality of our education.
