The world of education and labor market is evolving at an accelerating pace. Therefore, at Vistula University we want to change the approach to education which is associated mainly with tedious “cramming”. Our main ambition is to introduce on a constant basis modern, student-friendly teaching methods, providing students with the tools for self-development and enabling them to build their self-awareness. Our goal is to make the graduates of Vistula ready to face their future with confidence. And even more, to shape their future.

Vistula University is the first private non-profit higher education institution established  in Poland. UV has been steadily rising in the university rankings of Polish universities (currently no. 5 among private universities). Vistula is the national leader in the field of internationalization among all Polish Universities with 2784 foreign students out of 6372 in total. 

The high quality of education and achievements of students and graduates of Vistula have been recognized by the Polish School Accreditation Commission. A wide range of academic programs are offered in bachelor`s, master`s and PhD levels. UV participates in global projects with socio-cultural, environmental, business and technological  dimensions. UV received the highest rating, “A”, in the parametric evaluation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education in the category of small research units. Vistula also participated in the European Erasmus LLP and Gruntvig programs.
