Thanks to its three schools – Medicine, Psychology and Philosophy, UniSR fulfils its goal to study Man’s body, soul and mind through a multidisciplinary approach. Among the several undergraduate, graduate programs as well as single-cycle-degree programs and medical specialization schools offered in Italian, UniSR also welcomes international and Italian students who wish to study in English and to pursue an international medical career offering a 6-year International MD Program (IMDP) for candidates directly coming from high school. It also offers with 2 English taught master's degrees, one in Biotechnology and one in Psychology as well as an International PhD.

UniSR students have the chance to study at  San Raffaele Hospital as well as at  San Raffaele Research Institute, a leading biomedical research institute in Italy and Europe renown for biomedical innovation. Clinical activities can also be scheduled in any other health facilities of the Gruppo San Donato, the largest private hospital group in Italy which San Raffaele Hospital belongs to.
