Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) is a public Lithuanian university located in Kaunas. Established in 1922 VDU is the second largest university in Lithuania and one of the key training center in the region. Today over 8 thousand students study at the university.

VDU is divided into several academic departments including 9 faculties:

  • Faculty of Arts
  • Faculty of Catholic Theology
  • Faculty of Economics and Management
  • Faculty of Humanities
  • Faculty of Informatics
  • Faculty of Law
  • Faculty of Natural Sciences
  • Faculty of Political Science and Diplomacy
  • Faculty of Social Sciences

The university offers 6 bachelor programs, 10 master programs and several non-degree courses. All programs are English-taught. Tuition fee for non-EU students varies from EUR 1700 to 3000 per year for bachelor studies and EUR 2900–4100 per year for master studies. VDU students take part in many academic exchange initiatives: the university cooperates with over 190 universities from USA, UK, Canada, Germany and 47 other countries.
